Number of NEETs on the Rise

The proportion of 18- to 24-year-olds not in employment, education or training (NEETs) has risen to 18.4%, according to figures released today by the Department for Education (DfE). For more on this story please see the article by Personnel Today.

Meanwhile, a report from NIACE  argues that it is critical for third sector organisations to receive the right support from government and local authorities,  because of the positive impact they can have on young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET).
